5/29/2023 0 Comments Bossy nr walkerNick Russo’s voicing of the author’s characters is absolutely perfect, clearly defined with no doubt who’s talking, and exactly as I imagine they would sound. To some it might come across as a piece of fluff but dig deep and really listen because this is a clever, hidden gem of a book and one I have no doubt I’ll be returning to when I need to escape this world we live in. It’s a beautiful story of coming out and finding love with ones perfect other half. I just loved this fabulous story and its characters. The research the author has undertaken to fully explain the advertising world must have been phenomenal and her ideas for the two projects the boys worked on together are original and, quite honestly… breathtaking. But now I’m thinking ‘why did I wait so long?’ because this is a terrific little story, full of humour, love and beautifully developed characters. The premise seemed a little bland and I’d bought it originally because of the author/narrator team. This is one of those books that I’ve had in my library for a while but that I’ve skirted over numerous times when searching for my next book to listen to.
